Krateo is one app and one ledger. Log a purchase on your phone at the register, open the same evening's numbers on an iPad, plan the month on a laptop. Where the device changes what is safe, we change what is available, and we say so plainly.
Krateo on iPad
The big screen is where a household stops checking one number and starts seeing the shape of a month. Krateo's layout adapts at three widths, so an iPad is not a stretched phone.
Text that stays readable
On a wide screen, Krateo caps and centres the reading column instead of stretching a sentence across 11 inches. Your eyes travel less; nothing feels like a spreadsheet that escaped.
Side by side where it earns it
Reports, Tax Smart and Credit Smart lay out in columns on a tablet, so the chart and the number that explains it sit together rather than a scroll apart.
The charts have room
Sparklines, category donuts and month bars were built for this width. The same data your phone summarizes, with the detail a small screen has to hide.
Kids get the canvas
Kids World's Money Map is a real canvas: pinch, pan, and see goals and chores as one picture. On an iPad it is closer to a table you both lean over than a screen you take turns holding.
What we are not claiming
Krateo's tab bar and navigation chrome are still phone-shaped on an iPad. The content adapts; the frame around it has not been rebuilt for iPadOS yet. It is on our list, and we would rather tell you than let you discover it.
Krateo on the web
Krateo Web runs the same app in a browser, so a laptop or a desktop can do the parts a phone is bad at: long planning sessions, real keyboards, a month laid out at once.
Same household, same second
Log something on your phone at lunch and it is on the screen in front of you before you sit down. There is no import, no sync button, no second account.
A keyboard for the long jobs
Reviewing a bank import, writing budget notes, naming twelve goals. The tasks where a phone keyboard is the slowest part of the job.
Nothing to install
Open a browser and sign in. Useful on a work laptop, a borrowed machine, or the family desktop nobody wants another app on.
Two things web deliberately will not do
The Private Vault stays on your phone
The Vault's contents are unlocked by your device: your phone's secure storage and Face ID or a passcode. A browser has neither. Rather than half-open it, Krateo Web refuses the Vault outright and tells you to reach for your phone. A privacy promise you can only keep on one device is not a promise.
Kids do not sign in on the web
A member with the Child role cannot open Krateo in a browser at all. Kids' money lives on the family's own devices, where a parent set it up, and not on any shared computer a child happens to sit at. Teens sign in normally, with the same permissions a parent granted them.
